Waka Waka solar cell lamps were distributed on June 6, to habitants in les Palmes who don't have access to electricity and with very limited resources to buy batteries and kerosene. Women outside a school built by LWF Haiti after the 2010 earthquake in Palmes 9/10 in Petit Goave. The women have had difficult months since Hurricane Sandy hit Haiti in October 2012, but have received basic support from LWF including emergency food and cash vouchers for reconstruction.
